Ownership of Site
These Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) apply to:

1. All sites within the domain ‘adf.org.hk’;
2. The JADE and DIAMOND web sites; and
3. All sites and applications owned or operated by ADF defined herein.

All of the above are collectively called the “Site” for the purpose of these Terms.

Asia Diabetes Foundation Limited (“ADF”) is a charitable institution incorporated in Hong Kong and a subsidiary of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Foundation with a mission to achieve positive impacts in the better understanding and care of diabetes and other chronic diseases.  BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND WAIVE ANY CLAIMS AGAINST ADF. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY CEASE USING THE SITE.

ADF reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time. It is not the responsibility of ADF to remind you of these Terms. By continuing to use the Site, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms and any amendments thereof. As long as you comply with these Terms, ADF grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and limited privilege to enter and use the Site.

Conditions of Use

You hereby expressly acknowledge and agree to comply with the following conditions:

1. All text, graphics, videos, logos computer code including without limitation source code displayed and embedded in the Site (collectively, “Content”) is exclusively owned, controlled or licensed by or to ADF and is protected by intellectual property laws of any competent jurisdiction. No part of the Site shall be amended, copied, reproduced, republished including without limitation translated in any form without ADF’s expressed prior written consent.
2. ADF reserves the right to block further access(es) from you for any of the following violations or as requested by any competent legal authority:
   
   • 2.1.  You may not use any software to bot or crawl through the Site;
   • 2.2.  You may not amend or hack the Site or circumvent any security measures through illegitimate means;
   • 2.3.  You may not interfere with the normal operation of the Site including without limitation purposely imposing a high load on the system; and
   • 2.4.  You may not do any unlawful or prohibited acts to infringe the rights of ADF or other users.
3. Other parts of the Site may have other sets of Terms and Conditions. You agree to abide by those Terms and Conditions and these. In the event of a conflict between them, the applicable Terms and Conditions shall be those that apply for that part of the Site.
4. Parts of the Site may require authentication by way of username and password. You agree to the following applicable specific conditions:
   
   • 4.1.  To be responsible for actions done using your account and to keep your username and password information confidential at all time;
   • 4.2.  To notify ADF immediately if someone has obtained your username and password information; and
   • 4.3.  To prohibit the use of another person’s username and password information notwithstanding that other person’s expressed permission if the said permission leads to breach of any Terms and Conditions defined herein.
5. You acknowledge that communications on the Internet cannot be absolutely secure and absolve ADF of any liability.
6. Other sites that are linked to our Site are provided for convenience only. ADF is not responsible or liable for their content nor does ADF endorse the material contained therein.
7. Contents of the Site are provided on an “AS IS” basis. ADF does not promote that the content is provided error-free or uninterrupted. ADF does not guarantee that the files downloaded from the Site are free from viruses or could otherwise cause harm to your system. ADF shall not be liable for any loss or damage inadvertently caused.
8. ADF reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the operation of the entire Site or any portion of the Site for any reason to perform system maintenance or error correction.
9. In the event of any investigation or complaint related to your use of the Site, you agree and authorise ADF to disclose any information held of you (including your identity) to discharge any duty to a competent legal authority.
10. You agree that all matters relating to your access to or use of the Site including without limitation all disputes shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong without regard to provisions concerning Conflict of laws.

ADF will not be liable for the inadvertent disclosure of, or corruption or erasure of data transmitted, received or stored on ADF's system unless caused by the wilful misconduct of any person under ADF's employment. ADF has the right to terminate your entitlement to use or access its websites at any time without notice to you.
